Dr. Jeffrey A. Ross is a board-certified Chiropractic Neurologist and Electromyographer who has been in private practice since 1995. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of SUNY Brockport and New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Ross continued his post-grad training through Palmer College, NYCC, and Northwestern University of Health Sciences to obtain his two diplomates in Electrodiagnosis and Neurology.
Prior to beginning his doctoral education, Dr. Ross graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science double major in both Biology and Chemistry, as well as, a concentration in Biochemistry. During the years of his undergraduate studies, Jeff was a Ronald E. McNair research scholar. His areas of research included Microwave Induced Delayed Phosphorescence and Non-isotopic Immunoassays.
Dr. Kimberly Brown is the Lead Chiropractic Attending at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Cincinnati, Master’s degree in molecular biology at SUNY Geneseo and graduate work toward a Ph.D. in cell and molecular biology at SUNY Upstate Medical University. She worked for 12 years performing research in academic medicine and in industrial microarray genetic technology. In 2003 she received her doctorate in chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College as valedictorian and received a year long ACC Research Scholar appointment.
Dr. Ronald Brodkin graduated National College of Chiropractic in 1983. Since graduating, he has maintained active academic involvement and has gone on to achieve his Diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology, Diplomate in Electrodiagnosis, is a Fellow of the American College of Functional Neurology, achieved certification in Chiropractic Spinal Trauma, and is a board eligible Chiropractic Orthopedist.
Dr. Ralph Mangels serves as an Associate Clinician in South Shore Neurologic's Musculoskeletal Pain department. He is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College, class of 1990. Following graduation he completed additional post-doctoral studies in the fields of neurology, neurophysiology, and rehabilitation. In 1993, he was awarded his diploma in Chiropractic Neurology. In addition to active practice, he is an adjunctive faculty member of New York Chiropractic College and frequently lectures on topics involving: neurology, pain, musculoskeletal function, and rehabilitation. Dr. Mangels joined our staff in 1998.
Dr. Vasakiris has been a Chiropractor in practice in Lindenhurst, New York for over 26 years. He is a Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist who specializes in the management and rehabilitation of musculo-skeletal disorders of the cervical and lumbar spine. Dr. Vasakiris completed his undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University. He received his doctoral degree in Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 1989. He subsequently obtained his diplomate training in Chiropractic Neurology and certification in electro-diagnostic evaluations through the postgraduate department of New York Chiropractic College. Currently, Dr. Vasakiris is adjunct clinical faculty for New York Chiropractic College where his responsibilities include direct clinical training and supervision of residents in all aspects of direct patient clinical care.
Dr. Michael Siefman completed the required five years of study at New York Chiropractic College in Old Brookville, New York. After graduation, he augmented his educational experience by additional studies in Radiology, Orthopedics, Clinical Nutrition, Neurology Electrodiagnosis, and Physical Therapy. Shortly after opening his practice, he entered a board certification program in Clinical Neurology. He finished that program and became board certified in 1992. He has been practicing as a neurologist since that time.
